Effective 21 August 2026
Privacy, in plain English.
InternalStatus uses your data to operate the service you ask for. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use private workspace events for advertising or to train models.
What we collect
- Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, display name.
- Workspace configuration: members, preferences, watchers, connected providers and notification destinations.
- Events and metrics sent by connected tools, and cost, usage and membership figures InternalStatus reads on a schedule from the providers you connect.
- Operational records needed to deliver, secure, debug, meter and bill the service.
How we use it
To authenticate users, ingest and correlate events, track spend, generate briefs, evaluate watchers, deliver notifications, provide support, prevent abuse and meter usage against your plan. Nothing else.
AI processing
Three features send workspace data to a language model through OpenRouter: the daily brief, the natural-language watcher compiler, and the incident verdict. What is sent is limited to the events, metrics and incidents relevant to that request, redacted of credential-shaped values.
Evaluation of watchers is not one of these. Once a watcher is compiled and you approve it, it is evaluated by ordinary code with no model involved, so your operational data is not sent anywhere on a schedule.
Retention and deletion
Events, metrics and provider readings are deleted automatically once they pass the retention window of your plan. Deleting a workspace removes its data, including connected credentials, and cannot be undone.
Service providers
InternalStatus relies on Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel for hosting, Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record for payments, Resend for transactional email, and OpenRouter for model access. Each processes only what its function requires. Lemon Squeezy handles payment details; InternalStatus never sees or stores a card number.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Email privacy@binarychakra.com and we will respond within 30 days. Workspace owners can delete a workspace and everything in it directly from settings.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that materially affects how your data is used, we will tell you before it takes effect rather than silently updating the date at the top.
